Ok, this has got to stop! All my last posts are about chocolate chip cookies or chocolate chip cookie related. Enough allready, don't you think?
I'll stop but as for this post I'm sticking with them, or at least making sticks out of them!
- A chocolate chip cookie recipe (look here for ideas)
Make your dough according to your recipe. It's better to use a recipe that makes a soft dough, so it's easier to spread. Spread on a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silpad, with the help of an off set spatula (if you don't have one, a normal spatula, a knife or even the back of a spoon can help). Bake as you would your cookies and when they're golden brown take them out of the oven. They'll be soft and that's how you want them. Immediatly cut stripes of the dough at the lenght and wideness you prefer. If you're using a silpad remove the baked huge cookie to a cutting board before cutting, so you don't cut your silpad (those things are expensive!), but work fast, because this way they'll cool faster and also harden faster, making it difficult to cut even stripes or sticks. Let them cool and harden and munch away.
- Eat as they are (no probelm with that!)
- Use to stir coffee, tea or hot chocolate
- Dip in chocolate ganache
- Dip in peanut butter
- Put on a tall jar and give as a gift
- Make chocolate roses and use the sticks as their stems
- Stick a marshmallow in one of the sides (maybe my favourite use)

Your cookie-sticks are the perfect roasted marshmallow delivery device. Fun concept once again!
Haha, cool idea. I saw someone do something similar recently at a potluck. If you like your cookies crispy, then this is the way to go. Does anyone ever really get sick of chocolate chip cookies?
Looks nicely strange with a Biscotti shape but a biscuit style.... then the marshmallow at the end just look very good.

The sticks looks great...I bet they tasted even better. But you know, the chocolate chip cookie is classic. It's like one of those situations where the wheel has already been invented - lol.

4 Words...Oh.My.God.Hawt.
great idea!!!
What a dangerous looking cookie recipe! :D
Your ideas are sheer genius, though I'm sure I've said that before. But honestly, if there were a noble prize for cooking, you'd win it! I love this idea, seriously MUST try it!
PS -as a blogger, I also thought it was a great idea to just throw the idea out there without a recipe. Who doesn't have a recipe for choc chip cookies?? I'm sure it saved you a lot of time and we didn't necessarily need it. I've so been tempted to do this a few times, I think now that I see it done successfully, I will save myself some time too!
I love the stick with the toasted marshmallow on it!!!
I don't think there could ever be enough discussion about chocolate chip cookies. They were the first thing I remember making as a kid and my favorite thing to make now.
